Boat maintenance classes are given during the winter months. These classes include painting, varnishing and polishing techniques. Gel coat, rigging, rope and deck fitting repairs.
Outboard motor stripdowns. Diesel theory. Underwater theory. Rudder stern gland, stuffing box and valve gear maintenance. On board oil change, diesel fuel line bleeding, rigging tensioning, sail repairs and electric's.

Training both in a classroom or on board. Detailed handouts given including drawings and diagrams.
